Spring is here and Summer is right around the corner! Time for summer jumping, water slides and BBQ’s! As we plan for a great busy season, here are some helpful hints that will relieve stress and guarantee a successful memorable event!
Party in the Local Park! – Astro Jump® is an approved vendor and carries the insurance necessary to host your event in Parks and public spaces. When planning a park event, check with the Parks and Recreation Department to guarantee the park allows inflatable’s. Make a reservation for a picnic space when required and begin the permit process. Most parks do not have electricity available for bounce houses so plan on needing to add a generator/gas motor to your inflatable order. City park rules and regulations vary and what we can provide for your event may change based on the specific park you choose. The Parks and Recreation department will provide you with the inflatable guidelines and regulations for their city. Our staff will be able to help you choose what best fits your event and is compliant with any guidelines the city may have. Plan on being at the park an hour before your party begins and with Astro Jump; all payments will be collected in cash on delivery.
Waterslides! - The drought is over and we are expecting a fantastic season of water fun! Astro Jump® has a wide selection of waterslides and slip and slides to match any occasion. Keep in mind that you will need a minimum space of 30ft x 15ft or larger when booking your waterslide. It is always best to know how much space you are working with before calling to make a reservation. Waterslides can be placed on grass, astro-turf or concrete/asphalt. You will need to make sure that you have an electrical outlet nearby as well as a hose long enough to reach the slide. Keep in mind that waterslides and dunk tanks are not allowed in public parks so your water event will need to be on private party. If you are looking for a space, check with your local lodge, church or school.
